Hot Mamas know how to Fight the Frump
This week,my Fight the Frump Friday is joining up with Absolutely Bananas' own 'Hot Mamas Know'.
Why? I'm still sick. Feverish. So un-fabulous! Thank you to Augmentin for starting to bring me back to life. Did y'all know sinus infections are straight from the devil? Oh, yes ma'am, they are!
What does this Hot Mama Know?
Eyelashes! I love long eyelashes!
Maybe not that long. Honestly, isn't she pretty.
Little known Fussy fact- I once was a giraffe junior zookeeper. Another story for another day! (Hey you, stop talkin' smack about Fussy! I will too write about it, really.)
I love the look of long beautiful lashes!
OK, not that long.
I love to curl my not-so-naturally-blessed eyelashes! I heat up my eyelash curler with the hairdryer and voila, beautiful lashes ready for mascara. I love this trick!
You may be tempted to heat your curler up too long. Please don't!
Warm is good. You don't hafsta feel the burn!
Just swipe on some mascara and Honey, you are good to go!

Have a great weekend, Friends of Fussy!
Love to you all, Mrs. Fussypants

You are just too adorable! I love eyelashes, too. If all else fails... I curl them and Voluminous Waterproof them and I feel purty!!!

fortunately, I never fell into the garishly decorated sweatshirt/sweater holiday trend.
Hope you start feeling better soon!

I adore this post. Excellent tip. I think I'd be the one to burn my eyes off accidentally though!!

Hooray! Another fabulous Fight the Frump Friday post! (even feeling poorly, you come through with stars, amazing!)
I have long been a mascara/lip gloss/powder girl, even on my most sleep-deprived days. I may have hippie chick values and I may shun the mall, but this crunchy mama loves her lipsticks! And, thanks to you, and a little trick about heated eyelash curlers I read, for the past week I've been lovin' my long curled lashes, too :-) THANK YOU!
Thanks for the laughs - feel better soon!

Eyelashes? Oh - are they those things that prevent schmutz from dropping directly into Bossy's contact lens?

I hope you are well soon, Fussy. Thinking about you. xoxo Keri

I have a friend who is a makeup artist.. she says you should never leave the house without mascara, blush and lipgloss on. If you only have those things on, your face will still look great! :)

You know, I'm a bit ashamed to admit this here, but I don't own mascara. Let alone an eyelash curler. Let me check.... nope. I don't actually have a single thing of make up to my name. Unless old Halloween make up counts. Didn't think so. I'm not sure I would know what to do if I did have make up. I don't know how I made it through high school without ever wearing the stuff.

Love it... Minimal makeup days for me is lip gloss, and mascara after the eylash curler is used of course. Never tried heating it though... I'll have to try that tomorrow...
