Y'all all know about my stalkerish obsession great love admiration for my homegirl Ree aka- The Pioneer Woman. Last weekend I had the great pleasure of going to her ranch and trying to prove my worth as a ranch hand to pesky Tim and the legendary Marlboro Man.
I had read every single a couple archived posts and was ready to help out with some calf ropin'. Here is how my calf ropin' adventure went down.
Started off easy as pie. I look hot is some chaps.
Mr. Know-it-all didn't have any faith in Mrs. Fussypants. Sheesh! Look at that style!
Right about now I started getting a wee-tad worried myself. Sure did look easy in the archives. Like all hard-workin' ranch hands -I kept a smile on my face.
I subtly suggested that I would prefer Marlboro Man not be told of my predicament.
Alas, even the best cowgirls know when to hang up her spurs.
So what happened next? Oh, I spent the rest of the weekend doing laundry with Mike, playing with Charlie's ears, eating my body weight in Ree's delicious food, and harvesting calf nuts.
Thanks for the hospitality, Ree. See ya' next time I'm in your neck of the woods!

OMG, I think my butt just fell off laughing. Any time you and your chitlins are out in this here western state feel free to drop by and help wrangle some goats they are MUCH easier to wrangle than gal tarned calves!
