Fussy & The Cast of Lost Perform The Can-Can!
Can you guess why I am so excited today? No?
Allow me to show you. Play this video!
Woot-Woot! Y'all know what Fussy will be doing at 9pm tonight. ~Cue angel choir~
I will photo-blog it like I do Oprah & Dr. Oz, but I will wait until Saturday to post. That way if you need to TiVo it, I won't spoil your Friday date with Lost.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One more thing- Thanks to the Bloggie nomination (thank you Friends of Fussy!) I have received so many wonderful emails. Thank you so much! Many Friends of Fussy are asking for a Fussy FAQs page. I have no idea what to write and I'm afraid I would bore y'all to death!
"I could eat my body weight in Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby ice cream. Rumors of large catfish in local lakes cause me great distress ~shudders~. I was an only child. I never miss Meet the Press. I am not to be spoken to before my coffee. Zzzzzz...."
Wake up! See? I warned you that it would be bor-ring.
Your turn, Friends of Fussy, whaddya wanna know? Send an email or put them in my beloved comment section! You ask. I'll answer.
Your wish, my wonderful friends, is my command!
Love, Fussy
PS- That is a nice color on you. It really brings out your eyes! ;)
My StumbleUpon Page
Love the video, Fussy! I have it TiVo'd, but looks like I'll be home after all. But I'll record it just the same, in case the little one needs my attention.
What I'd like to know is...how do you take your coffee? And how did you meet Mr. Smartypants? Or is that last one posted somewhere that I haven't read?
Gotta go! The little is starting to crawl...!
Goodmorning Fussy!
I"m with Heather, how did you meet Mr. Smartypants? How long have you been married?
Posted by: Army Wife | January 31, 2008 at 06:22 AM
LOST ... my only TV addiction!
I'll take Sawyer, even doing the can-can!
Posted by: Nancy | January 31, 2008 at 06:44 AM
I'd love the 'how I met hubby' story, and also, what church/kind of church do y'all go to? Did you plan to have a gaggle of kids when y'all got married, or have your ideas on families changed over the years?
What's your favorite color? Do you bite your nails? :) Why start such a wonderful blog??
Oh, so many questions ...
Would you still love me if I told you I think Lost is dumb? I mean, they are STILL lost! Losers!
I liked the video though - you're a great dancer. What I wanna know is, what were you like as a school-aged child?
Posted by: Karen Sugarpants | January 31, 2008 at 06:57 AM
You've done it again - how in the world do you do it? A great mom, a prolific blogger AND a now a can-can dancer! Amazing!
Posted by: Quietmom | January 31, 2008 at 07:15 AM
Hey, I need to talk to you. I'm raising an only child. I have seven brothers and sisters and don't have a clue WTHeck I'm doing. I tell him to go play with his brother and he looks at me like I'm smokin' crack.
You hysterical chick you! Look out Rockettes!! Here comes the Fabulous Fussy!
Let's see:
If your life were a novel: What would the title be?
If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
What 2 charities do you most strongly support?
If you had 45 minutes of kid free time and no computer, what would you do?
XOXO Smooches love!
Posted by: Rachel | January 31, 2008 at 07:28 AM
Fussy, your work with heads is exactly why I linked to your page today!! I just saw the jib Jab sendables on another blog- totally up my alley!!
Posted by: Sister Sassy | January 31, 2008 at 07:52 AM
45 kid free minutes and no computer- ~screams in horror~ Somebody give me back my laptop!
I love periwinkle blue.
Coffee- with silk soymilk vanilla creamer.
I support Samaritan's Purse by Franklin Graham and Salvation Army.
I don't bite my nails. Hubs and eldest son do. I go up behind them when they bite and say, "Nom nom nom, are those nails tasty?"
I told Hubs on our first (blind) date that I wanted 5 kids.
We've been married 10 years.
Love y'all!
Yeah only children! I am one myself. I feel shell shocked a lot of days dealing with sibiling rivalry and I have two. My husband is one of 4, so he brushes it off.
Posted by: Jennifer | January 31, 2008 at 08:02 AM
I should have known you are an only child! Me, too! And all my closest, most compulsive, fussy, bossy, wonderfulest friends also. I am declaring this a no anger day in honor of only children, similar to my Zappos.com no anger day last Monday. But that's another story.
My FAQ for you is: How do you travel with the whole group of children and husband? I shudder at a 6 hour drive with only my 21-month old. Last time we tried it, we turned around. One time she vomited ALL OVER ME during the first 30 minutes of a 3 hour plane ride. I washed her clothes in the bathroom then wrapped her in a towel for the rest of the trip bc I didn't have a change of clothes for her (A plus mom). I washed my clothes in the bathroom, put them back on soaking wet (still smelling of vomit), then rode the rest of the way wet. So yes, how do you do it?
FAQ #2: What time do you go to sleep and awaken? How many hours of sleep do you get every night to have all this wit and energy?
Have a great day everyone! Andrea
Posted by: Andrea | January 31, 2008 at 08:47 AM
Wow, that was in impressive can can! I never really thought about it-those guys have very girlish figures. I am jealous.
FAQ question-do you live in the part of the country you grew up in? If so, would you prefer to live somewhere else? If not, what do you miss from where you grew up?
Posted by: Suzanne | January 31, 2008 at 09:08 AM
I'm wearing a white shirt. Does that mean it brings out the white parts of my eyes? :0)
I got a giggle from your post. THanks!
Travel? We just drove to a family reunion 12 hours away. How do we do it? Expect the unexpected! Throwing up, flat tires, sitting next to the baby leaned over & nursing while Mr. Smartypants drives down the interstate -we've done it all! ;)
The more kids I have, the more nothing even surprises me. The secret is to learn to laugh at it because one day it will be a funny story to tell(or blog)!
Sleep? In bed at midnight & up between 6-7. I always take an afternoon nap with my toddler. 3 year old watches Noggin and the big boys do lessons or have reading time. If everyone is well-behaved when I wake up then I give them a treat, like ice cream. If they haven't obeyed the rules (say someone climbs on top of the fridge to retrieve a lost toy)- no TV the rest of the day. That is a fate worse than death in this house!
Hubs and I have moved all over the eastern part of the country (8 times in 10 years). I am, by chance, living back in Tennessee, where I was born.
I would love to move to my adopted home -Coastal Rhode Island.
This is fun! Keep em coming! ;)
How old are your kids? What do you think you'll be like as an old lady? Do you really wear hats all the time?
Posted by: Beck | January 31, 2008 at 09:46 AM
Ooh, Lost, I am counting down the minutes!
Posted by: amy p | January 31, 2008 at 09:53 AM
Woohoo! Lost! Woohoo! I'm dancing with you right now.
Oh, Fussy, you're just what I needed this morning. When I woke up today I discovered that my two lovely daughters chopped off all of their bangs. (FUN!) At least there are no pictures or anything important that will be harmed due to it. I will be taking pictures though. The ones I plan to get out when boyfriends come over. Mwahahahaha. Ok I'm still tired. Anyway, thanks for the laughs in the morning!
(Oh, and I love what you're wearing also.)
I'm SO excited about LOST! Although I realized while watching last nights re-cap, that I apparently missed/forgot a lot of stuff. I was SO lost (noi pun, really) last night! I'm may be bugging you for answers. "When did that happen? How did he get there? What happened to _____?" My husband was SO not liking me last night! LOL
I love periwinkle blue, too! And burnt umber.
Question for you: do you hang your toilet paper roll with the end hanging towards the front or the back (this is a very telling clue into your deepest psyche)?
PS...will you come play at my caption contest (I'm copying you, but I give you your props:
http://watchmenowatchme.blogspot.com
Posted by: Christine | January 31, 2008 at 12:01 PM
The tiolet paper roll MUST hang forward. Hanging backward is a travesty!
Church? Non-denominational Christian. Grew up Southern Baptist.
Boys are 9,6,4(next week),17 months and due in May.
Me as an old lady? Happy, hopefully still blogging ;), surrounded by about 50 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Hats? Everyday in summer. My family's Irish skin wrinkles terribly. Winter? Only if I am living up north. Don't need to here in Nashville.
MWAH!
Wow! Yall did a wonderful job with the
can can. So what do you love the most about the wonderful State of Tennessee. My favorite part are the rolling hills, especially in the fall. Ahhh, thank goodness I'm not that far away from there.
Hi Fussy! You crack me up!
My questions:
What were you like as a kid?
What made you decide to homeschool?
Thank you for being hilarious today!
Posted by: Alicia | January 31, 2008 at 02:50 PM
You like "Lost?" So do I. How odd! "Chubby Hubby" is your favorite Ben & Jerry's ice cream? Mine too. How odd!
Posted by: Lenny | January 31, 2008 at 04:57 PM
I'm so excited about Lost too! Yay for us!
My question - What made you choose homeschooling?
Posted by: Amanda | January 31, 2008 at 06:03 PM
Not a LOST fan, but my husband lives for it.
Although, I do appreciate the pretty male specimens they have on that show...wink, wink.
My question...who is your favorite author?
Posted by: Redneck Mommy | January 31, 2008 at 08:29 PM
I am hoping that I can handle the last seasons. I have a definite love/hate relationship with Lost.
After hearing that the next seasons will only cover 3 days, I just don't know if I can take it!
Posted by: Loralee | January 31, 2008 at 09:03 PM
LOST!!! It was AWESOME. I won't give anything away for the West Coast Fussypants readers, but I think this season is going to ROCK.
Questions? Hmmm. Did you go to college and if so, what is your degree? Do you have siblings?
Posted a photo of your earrings on my blog :)
