As a girl raised in the land of big hair and copious amounts of cosmetics, I have always loved the thrill of finding a supa-fab product. Y'all know I love a bargain. This product is less than $10 and really works!
Covergirl Outlast Lipcolor - I put this color on my lips in the morning and I take it off right before bed. I'm not kidding! It lasts through 18 cups of coffee, a nap, and all the yelling at the kids the many joyous hours with the children. This lipstick even stayed on through my years months of morning sickness!
The Supa-Fab Lipcolor Rundown-
- Paint the color on in the morning. Do not rub, pat or blot.
- Let it dry for about a minute.
- Put on a gloss over the top. You can use the clear gloss that comes with it.*
- Always take it off at night. I use vaseline to remove it and my mascara. It is inexpensive and moisterizes!
*I use my favorite lip gloss over the color. It is Bonny Bell gloss. Yes, I know, it's for 10 year old girls, stop laughing! It isn't sticky and it smells yummy.
I use Cappachino to lighten the look of the neutral pink color.
I use Mocha Mousse to give the color a darker punch.

I still am dead suffering through the flu. No really bad Lost post tomorrow. My friend does a really good one. Read her instead.
We have an all-weekend-long dump this house open house and must get outta town! The family is packing up the Suburban to spend the weekend in a cabin in the Mountains. Sick Fussy, sick kids and no internet. ~Fussy Screams in Terror~ I'll be back on Sunday night, if I make it, to do the world famous Linkapalooza!
Love to you, you, you and you there on the couch with your laptop. Oh Honey, you look comfy and cute!
Fussy

Oh, fussy i remember the days of open houses. They suck! Is Mr. Smarty pants at least going to be back. Which reminds me you mentioned he was up in this neck o' the woods, was it a follow up interview? or? or? what?! I'm dying to know if I'll have the (in)famous fussy in my area! Okay, I better go now as my pain killer is kicking my butt tonight. Hope you feel better!

My post is on doing a spa day. Fussy, you need one bad! And I love open houses, but I guess that's because I've never lived in a house where they were having one.

Feel better you poor thing! It seems like the flu has hit the land of bloggers... you're the 2nd I've read about today!
Sending you some crackers, a bottle of ginger ale, and a squishy pillow.

Hmm...I do love the "On all day" lipsticks, but they tend to dry my lips out. (Even with great gloss).
I'll have to give this one a shot. Anything that can hold up to morning sickness is amazing.
Posted by: Loralee | February 29, 2008 at 02:31 AM
SO need that product. I always forget to reapply the lipstick. And then my lips look all nekkid and sad.
Posted by: Sister Honey Bunch | February 29, 2008 at 05:10 AM
That lipstick sounds awesome - where can I get it?
Hope you have a relaxing weekend despite being sick, and being crammed into a cabin with the kids. And no internet.
We'll miss you.

Oh, MizFit, Burt's Bees tinted lip balm is great! They're super-tiny and minty fresh. You'll love it.
Fussy, I'm happy to take part in my first Fight the Frump mission. Thanks for such a great site, great resources, and your all-around greatness. I hope you feel better soon.

How often do you have to keep reapplying the gloss. The lip stain things I have used in the past seem to be very dry, and I had to keep the gloss out to keep my lips moisturized.
Hope you get to feeling better.

Fussy - you STOLE my tip. FOR REAL!!!! LUV that stuff!! (And did you SEE that they just redesigned the bottle and came out with new colors?? Trouble is.... they apparently did away with MINE. Waaah!)
Oh well, here's to hubby never again wearing my lipstick after a smooch. MWAH!

Good luck with the house. Mine is supposed to close in 3 hours and I am biting my nails hoping my phone doesn't ring with a last minute crisis.
I always wonder about those stay put lipsticks. I hate the gloss they include because it is so sticky and super shiny. Silly me didn't think of just using another brand over it.
Posted by: Michelle | February 29, 2008 at 08:12 AM
Mocha Mousse is my 2nd favorite lipgloss! I've been wearing it forever!!
I was going to do mine on lips today. Darn you woman! Mine'll be done after we get back from the doctor with the kiddos.
I wore that lipstick when I got married and loved it!!
Posted by: Rachel | February 29, 2008 at 08:27 AM
So sorry you are sick with the flu!!
I am addicted to lip gloss so that product sounds great!!
My post is about the way I am going to take 6 years off from my face!!
HAve a great weekend.

I am sooo going to have to buy me some of that fab lipstick. I am a lipstick kinda girl. I'll walk out of the house with a scrunchie and sweats to drop off carpool, but I WILL MOST DEFINITELY have on lipstick and earrings. No southern belle leaves her home without earrings, sugar!
Hope you're feeling better soon. I am recovering from bronchitis myself.

Have a great weekend, Fussy! I'll be going thru Fussy-withdrawal!

I remember just about fainting once when a friend's Bonne Belle lipgloss was EXACTLY THE SAME COLOUR as my $45 dollar one. So since then, I wear Bonne Belle.

Oh, got to get me some of that! For the record your not the only one using BB, I still it from my girls too. How sad is that.
Glad to see my soup at least got you off the couch. LOL
You take care

OOOhhhh! How I loved Bonnie Bell; I didn't even know they made it anymore--must get my 9 year old hooked on it so I can 'borrow' it.
My tip EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE at least three times a week. I love Origins 'Never a Dull Moment' for this.
Hope you get over the flu quickly!

Oooh but you think I look cute! Thanks so much, yeah I am trying something different with my hair.
Oh, OK, those sleep meds must have kicked in now.... night!

I have frump question. What is a good mommy hair do? I am spending all of my time in a ponytail and it is giving me wicked head aches. I can't cut my hair short because it is thick and wavy and I would have a fro. I know this because I asked my stylist to whack it off and she refused.
Posted by: melissa | March 02, 2008 at 02:59 PM
OK you sold me. I bought TWO of these at Rite Aid Friday - they were on BOGO! WOOHOO! Though technically I got the Maybelline brand (since it was on sale and all). Works great! I love having color on my lips ALL DAY LONG - especially since I'm so pale and pasty w/o it.
OH! And I also bought the Bonnie Bell cappuccino gloss...I'm such a follower! LOL
