Fussy's Really Bad Lost Post -Episode 2.
Make sure you've read the really bad Lost recap from last week before reading this one.
Have you read it? OK, good.
I found a picture of the eye that peeked out from Jacob's cabin. Whaddya say? Do you think it is Locke or Christian?
On to this week...
The rescue helicopter goes crazy. Two men and a woman bail out. The woman ends up with Locke and his crew. She is a seemingly nice Anthropologist named Charlotte. She previously discovered a polar bear skeleton with a Dharma symbol in the desert.
Don't even ask me to explain that one.
There's also a crazy ex-ghostbuster & a flakey wisp of a man. Crazy dude pulled a gun and was a real jerk until Juliet & Sayid jumped outta the jungle packin' serious heat.
Take note -Sayid is always a dependable hiney-kicker!
We meet the crazy old helicopter pilot. Psycho-ghostbuster dude announces they are really there, not to rescue, but to find ~insert dramatic music~ Benjamin Linus.
Before I show you the picture in his hand. Here is a picture I found floating around on the Lost Forums. Losties say the crazy old pilot is really Jacob. Hmmmm.....
OK, now the picture in Psycho-Ghostbuster-dudes hand. It shows a Supa-Fly Ben. Also, notice the ginormous computer monitor isn't plugged in?
Oh, yeah, Ben told Locke and his crew that he knew exactly who the four people are and that they are there to get him. He named them perfectly complete with where they were all born. He said he has a spy on their ship. Some Losties say it is patchy aka-Mikhail or Michael -Walt's Dad.
Remember last week, the freaky dude who visited Hurley in the future-flash at the mental institution?
Turns out he was in charge of sending the 'rescuers' to do the dangerous covert operation. Naomi says an Anthropologist (Charlotte S. Lewis. - get the C.S. Lewis hat tip?) a ghostbuster an a flake are not a trained crew and should not go. Weird dude says they go.
So there ya go, Friends of Fussy. I have no answers, just more questions, a Lost-induced headache and a funny picture...
Spill it, Friends o' Fuss, what are your thoughts, questions and ruminations about Episode 2?
Love, Fussy

Of course, more answers were raised. I like the new characters. Focusing on Ben was getting a little old. Roundabout, the focus is still on Ben, but at least there are some good back stories being introduced. I haven't had time to look at the other discussion boards yet. Hmmmm... Lots to think about!

Dear Fussy-
Love your blog...it's only 6:45 am and you've got me laughing. Can't wait to read more!

I have two big questions: if Ben has been raised on the island, how did the boat guys get a fairly contemporary picture of him?
And, if Naomi's job is keep the other boat guy losers from killing themselves on the island, why did she leave them alone and parachute onto the island by herself?
I think that the plane isn't actually at the bottom of the ocean and all that submarine footage was a coverup. After I stopped laughing at the cheesy submarine dialogue, that is.

Fussy, I found you through the webblogs a few weeks ago and I love you. This lost post makes me feel like I"m not alone in my bewilderment over that show. It sucks you in and then confuses the crap out of you. Sometimes I just get mad that I can't figure it out and stop watching. Thanks for the laugh and recap.

First of all let it be known that I LOVE Jack. That's always the most part of any Lost episode... watching him muscle through the jungle and cast deeply romantic gazes at various people.
Now, I have to say that whoever thinks the Pilot and Jacob are the same guy must be crazy... or blind. Check out the profiles... the slope of the forehead, the shape of his nose... there's no WAY they're the same person!

I'm thrilled that y'all like my REALLY BAD lost recaps. Because, well, they ARE really, really bad! ;)

So Fussy,
I'm one degree from Hurley (IRL Jorge). I know. Big Flippin' Deal! : ) That's not the good news. The good news is that Jorge has heard the Gospel. He and his family are close friends with a wonderful believing family. Here's to hoping Hurley stays lost and Jorge does not! : )

I've been wishing I could get into LOST without having started at the beginning, but this just reminds me how LOST I WOULD BE!!!

I still say Jacob looks like Eric Stoltz in Mask. But somehow I don't think this is relevant. :p

The Pilot = Jacob! THat seriously had NOT occured to me.

I posted my overview/questions here:
http://tinyurl.com/yrqqsv
I don't think the pilot is Jacob. I think Jacob can change into any body he wants to. We've seen him already as Jack's dad in the last episode, right?
I think they eye was Mikail's.
It's all getting so...interestingly weird.

Lost hurts my brain. there is just too much i don't know. and i NEED more than 8 episodes. stupid writers' strike...

I'm so lost anymore, I don't even know what questions to ask. The whole thing where we don't know if something occurred in the past or future is befuddling, to say the least. For example, did the flakey guy see the news flash about the plane being found before or after he went to the island? We don't know! Does it matter? Who knows! So frustrating, and yet so addictive . . .

Just more questions... But I LOVE this show! And I immediately thought that Michael was Ben's man on the boat. That would explain how Walt knew what was happening and could "warn" Locke.

I'm LOST! I like the show so I keep watching thinking I'm going to answers this time. Instead, I get even more LOST. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Lost? Who's Lost? I am, nobody is more lost than me with Lost. I am watching the stinken show 1 season behind in German! It is the best I can do:( Well, I am reading the website because I couldn't stand not understanding. So that helps with the language barrier.

And when I watched this episode, where we discovered it for first time, I thought, that writers made crap:)
