Fussy's Really Bad Lost Post -Episode 3

This Episode was called the Economist.

I have no clue why. Remember Fussy recaps are called bad for a reason.

Great news- The writer's strike is over and we will get 5 more episodes. The new total this season is 13 episodes to further deepen our love and confusion. ;)

We start out with Sayid, and his new straight hair, at a posh golf course in the Seychelles Islands. Some guy starts a conversation and then learns Sayid is one of the Oceanic 6.

Then we see Sayid in Berlin, still with the new hair, he is a hitman. He falls for Elsa. She shoots him & he shoots and kills her. Bummer because I think he loved her.

Later, Sayid, Kate and Miles are at the barracks. Sayid discovers Ben's secret room. It is ful of cheap suits, passports and loads of cash. He's been spreading his weasel-ly evil all over the globe.

Oh yeah, Locke captures Sayid, Kate and Miles. The Losties think Sayid is going to help Ben by going on the frieghter as a spy. My honey Sawyer tells Kate not to leave the island because she's going to jail anyway. D'oh!

Losties also say that Sayid is already there because of the whole time-space continum on the island.

This gives me a headache, I can't go there.

Here is a sceen shot of Sayid holding Naomi's bracelet. Doesn't seem meaningful to me, but the Losties thought it meant something. No one knows what.

I love your recaps, too funny! I totally forgot about Shannon! And didn't Elsa have a bracelet too? Her boss was the "economist" so that's what the episode was named for. I just can't believe Sayid ends up working for Ben, that's CRAZY!!

Ben needs to die a thousand deaths! And Sawyer? Ewww. He doesn't deserve Kate, he's scum (sorry, Fussy!). I do not like him. Other than that, I thought it was a great episode!

Thanks for the link! They called the episode the Economist because that's what Elsa's boss was called, remember? And that leads us to believe that he's very important and we need to figure out who he is. I'm clueless, but there are many theories out there in Lost blogland.

I can't wait till next week to find out who else is in the Oceanic 6. I'm still betting on Sun and Jin, but I'm probably wrong. Remember, Ben and Juliet don't count as Oceanic folks because there were already on the island. Ditto for Danielle and all the other Others. :-)

Oh, it made me crazy when they showed Ben with Sayid at the end and then the show was over. Why the hell were they together in the future? Eeeks!

I love the recap. It gives me something to look forward to when it comes to me a few months later. I do know from watching the website some leave the island some don't. I am with the lady above, why would Kate leave behind her hottie on a tropical island?

I cannot believe this episode!! Thinking back on me watching it, I'm sure it looked like this- me, cuddled up with the pup in my lap, soda in one hand, pretzels in the other, my mouth gaping wide open in confusion, with one GINORMOUS question mark floating above my head. I was sooo thrown off by the end of this episode with Sayid working with Ben!! Craziness!!~ I do have to say that I've never really thought Sayid was very attractive until that episode. He definitely has that "I'm going to seduce you, then kill you" loveliness about him ;) Love it!! But, definitely not as much as I love Sawyer! GRRRRRR!!!~ Great post!

Hmmm... so Sayid becomes a mercenary for Ben... interesting.

The bracelet is important for some reason but I don't know why.. but we saw the same kind of bracelet again, I think on Elsa... or maybe it was somewhere else, but I noticed it while we were watching the show and commented to my husband "Hmm... I wonder what the inscription on THAT bracelet says.." I think it will be explained probably next season.
