Yay, I finally have buttons that we can use for our happy/grateful/bragging day. I'll make more options for next week. I found these great graphics on allposters.com and made these cheeky buttons for ya!
Or maybe a less off-color choice?
After such a crazy week, I wanted to keep today's post light and funny. Remember my cousin the ER doctor I've been visiting? I found a continuing education CD on her desk. A certain topic caught my eye.
Oh my gawsh, I just thought it was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen! As the mother of 5 boys, I am proud to say we've yet to have a moment like this...
Because of that, I am oh-so grateful!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now it is your turn! What makes you happy? What are grateful for? Link up and share how great life is and exactly why it is that you rawk! The post can be from anyday in the last week. Be sure to link back here, call the meme whatever you like and use a button if you want! We'll keep the rules loose, k? Have fun!
Love, Fuss
I am thankful my husband is coming home today after being gone a week! As soon as he gets here I am handing off the kids and going shopping.
You're funny! Funny AND original, dude.
A visiting little boy once got his man junk trapped in his zipper. Boy, that was tricky to fix.
First time to your site and I'm sure I'll be back!
I'm sorry for the drama, btw. I'm glad you survived.
Okay, so I'm thinking this is a great thing to be grateful for. Owch!
Fussy ~
You are the best. I wished you lived by me so we could have coffee - you're not moving to the midwest, are you? :) Hope all is going well with the move and kiddos and MOMMY are hanging in there.
Thanks for keeping us all inspired!
Hugs!
I like the first one-a little off-color, but honestly, if one has had a hellacious week, that is PRECISELY the thought that comes to mind!!
If neither of your other options work out, Oklahoma is a nice place--we moved here in April, and we love it (and your boys would be more than welcome to come wear themselves out on our ten acres in the country...!).
As for what I am grateful for:
-That I haven't lost another bird thus far this week.
-that that pending UTI I thought I was going to get seems to not be as big an issue as I thought
-that in case it does decide to be a problem, I have a nearly full box of AZO to use liberally until Monday (the dr is booked solid today, closed tomorrow, and the closest ER that takes our insurance is 45 min away each direction)
-That DH has off Sat and almost all of Sunday...
-That we have enough money to pay the bills this month (even though there is little to nothing left over)..
There are men and boys everywhere who are also thankful to never have had that experience!
Love ya, Fussy!
LOVE the first graphic - I may cross-stitch that baby on a pillow.
Grateful today that DD3 has agreed to start using the potty again after a two week-long backslide - and VERY grateful for Miralax.
And it goes without saying, I am grateful for Fussy.
xoxo
I love the graphic, too. My post is up. No whining from me today! Another family with adopted kiddos like mine stopped over today... mayhem ensued BUT my house got cleaned.
I'm grateful that my kids keep me laughing... even my nieces....
I am glad that you seem to have come out of the debacle unscathed. Hold your head up proudly because you are a goddess.
Yikes. I can hardly look at the photo, knowing that's what it represents. And I don't even have that body part.
So I think about wildflowers!
