I have this friend that I have never met. We chat, we stumble, we twitter, we work together on Blissfully Domestic, we have a great time, but she lives on the other side of the world. Crazy how the internet brings us together isn't it?
She is the one and only Simple Mom.
My IRL-BFF Karla introduced me to her wonderful site. Karla and I whispered to eachother, "How can we convince her to join us on our project?" That very day SimpleMom emailed Karla about being a part of Blissfully Domestic. We just about fell over.
Go visit her site today, it is the best Mommy Blog on the internet, hands down. You will instantly love it. Her articles have taught me as much.
I am so happy to also announce she will be the head of her own branch of Blissfully Domestic when it relaunches around Labor Day. Her channel will focus on all things techie and web related: blogging, gadgets, web-design, social networking and much more. {if you would like to contribute to this branch of BlissfullyD, please email me, we still have room for a few more contributors}
This week Life Doesn't Suck because of SimpleMom, who teaches me what I need to know, Karla, who makes me behave myself. And Darla, who keeps me organized. Thank you, my sweet friends. I would be lost without you!
Now, Friends of Fussy, tell me just how your life doesn't suck! Be sure to link up your post, if you have one to share, in the comments. Otherwise just take a moment to share something you love, share how much you rawk or just anything that makes you happy! ;)
I am, of course, forever grateful to YOU, my sweet friend, for reading my silly thoughts everyday. Without you, there would be no site!
Love you all immensely, Alli

Aren't friends great - IRL ones and bloggy ones!
I (a bit tongue in cheek) wrote about the blessings and frustrations of children...

My life doesn't suck because my 23-month old girl is finally over her very high fever!! She's drinking and eating a little, and playing and generally being obnoxious! Yay!

Alli, you CRACK. ME. UP. Seriously. But thank you. This really makes my evening! I'm smiling as I write this.
Life doesn't suck today because of internet friends like YOU. Living overseas can get lonely, so the blogosphere has been my sanity. I have friends IRL here, of course, but it's great getting to speak English online. Well, speak, type... whatever.
Thanks again, dearie! I've loved working with you.

(kinda) new here - I stopped a while ago, and then dumb me didn't bookmark you! That last picture is perhaps the funniest I've seen in a while - LOL!
Oh yes, and my life doesn't suck because although my kids may have whined for the past 6 out of 6.5 hours, they are here, I GET to stay home with them, they are healthy, and it makes nap time so much sweeter.

I know someone who today, right now, is dying of cancer. She's 34 and has 5 of the most beautiful children you'll ever see: ages 8, 6 year old twins, 3, and 1.
Last night when I was tired and not feeling very great, I played and played with my baby- watching, smelling, listening, touching. Knowing I can do it again today. And tomorrow. And I helped my older son get ready to start first grade today. And I didn't cry because I will get to see him start 2nd grade and 6th, and 10th, and college.
I am grateful for - everything.

I am sooooo thankful to have gotten a job at my soon-to-be kindergartener's school as an assistant reading teacher. Not only will I have a job I love, I will also be finally bringing in some $$$ for our family while giving my son the assurance that mommmy is just down the hall. So, instead of dreading tears on the first day, we will both be as happy as clams! You can read my post about it if you want: http://dashofcrazy.blogspot.com/2008/08/11 (i hope that link is right, I'm not sure how to do that) :-P

Friends really do make the world a sweeter place whether they be irl or flung all around the world.
I'm thankful for my front porch this week.

Simple Mom is great. I have enjoyed all the articles she writes for BD. Her blog is great, as well. I can see why you are thankful for her. I am thankful for my parents, this week. Not to say that I am not always thankful for them, they have been extra special, this week.

Life doesn't suck because today we went to three school open houses and my kids are now officially excited to go back to school and hang with their friends and learn and stuff...almost as excited as I am for them to GO! If you see a car parked in front of the doors on Sunday night, that'll be me ready to boot them out at the first sign of a light flickering on. SWEEETTT!

Fussypants, How can you *claim* to be a Christian with Christian morals and values yet you try to "steal" contributors from other sites and even go as far to tell them that they can write under an alias for you? Seriously, you can count me out as a reader going forward as you really are just a phony. I pity your children and the morals you must be teaching them.

I'm thankful that I live where the sky is beautiful! I'm counting down until we move away from here, so it's a good exercise to be thankful for this place while we're here.
Simplemom is my fave too! :)
