My tweeps submitted an excellent list of favorite posts from the week. Go get a cup of coffee and enjoy these rawkin' posts.
@Maggie's Twitter Etiquette article.
@jonathanfield's post on savoring the now.

This is a wonderful Christian site. MintheGap. His post God always initiates was great!
My own pick of the week is Throwing Marshmallow's take on Michael Phelps, his struggle with ADHD and the trouble with traditional school.
The Twitter application of the week-
My Tweeple. This cool site lets you SEE all your follows and followers and their info at once. I have always needed to be able to see people quickly, and this does it for me!
Twitter trend of the week-
Face your Manga. We all made these cool little cartoons of ourselves. My vote? Meh. I like seeing my friend's faces on twitter, but it was fun for a bit. Also, I kinda look like a Vegas showgirl in my manga so it had to be retired. {blush}
Y'all know I only let myself get all mushy on Sundays. Otherwise I would be thanking you every single day for being here and it would bore you to tears. This week with you has been especially awesome because you have found me on Facebook. I absolutely love it. I get to see so many more of the Friends of Fussy. You are beautiful and wonderful. Thank you again for choosing to read this little piece of the web everyday.
Love you, Alli
PS- Comment topic of the day. Tell me your favorite part of the Summer Olympics. Did Michael Phelps & his Mamma make you cry, too? Are the Chinese gymnasts really as old as they say? Is Bela Karoli the funniest commentator ever? Is there anti-American bias from the judges as some have said. Can Dara Torres whup your butt? Share your thoughts my friends. I have a VERY FUNNY Olympic post coming on Tuesday featuring myself and the most famous Blogger ever. ~winks~

We only have one channel to watch the Olympics on, so I feel like I am missing a lot. And we have enjoyed Michael Phelps and his mom. But we like checking up on athlete profiles and found the Bronze medalist in Women's Fencing is a homeschooler!
My husband, an avid Auburn fan, has a print out of all the Auburn atheletes in the Olympics (they aren't all American), so not only do we cheer on USA, but we can shout War Eagle! when an Auburn athlete does well. (Also, we heart Rowdy Gaines, who is also from Auburn.)

Everything you said... And more. Being an Olympic 'addict', I really enjoy the odd events also... the equestrian events, water polo, pursuit cycling and rowing. I love Bela. He is so animated. Michael Phelps and his mom...how wonderful is that? She has helped him in so many ways to become the man he is today. Being an "older" person I was rooting like crazy for Dara. I think the funniest thing of the games that comes to my mind right off was how the Chinese sound people messed up the tape of the Star Spangled Banner on Michael's first medal ceremony... do you think they were 'fired' right off??...

I am a TOTAL Olympaholic. Last week I was on vacay on a mountain top with NO TV! What an ill-timed vacation!! My favorite has definitely been Phelps so far, and his sweet Mama. (Where the heck is his dad? Total deadbeat?) I also love Dara Torres, 41-year-old mom of a toddler competing with and BEATING 16-25 year olds! WOW!!
I just love the "Olympic Spirit" and also the patriotism is brings to the surface. USA! USA!

I am not that crazy about the Olympics, but I DID watch MP win #8 last night, and like the sap that I have become since having my son, I bawled like he was MY child. lol... I was SO proud! And I do enjoy seeing that the USA is leading in medals. Take that China!

*and it's not surprising that I cried; I dissolve into tears when a contestant wins a car on The Price Is Right.

How fun is Tweeple? Very cool.
Hadn't watched any Olympics until Friday. Just happened to catch Phelp's 7th & 8th Golds. Loved it. It was so incredibly exciting, my heart was racing just sitting on the couch!

Phelp's made me a nervous wreck. A good kind of nervous wreck. Now that he's got his 8 gold medals, my hiney can loosen up.

Funny, I am typing this comment as I watch the Women's Individual Gymnastic Competition. Yes, I love watching them girls to flips :o) I guess because my big butt could never do them, myself. I loved the swimming- our men's team RAWKED! Oh my, just looked up and saw a Russian girl do some body contortion that looks unnatural. Sorry, I got distracted. About Bela K - he is hysterical. You can't really understand what he is saying, but you are excited watching him.

Ok, so I am not such an olympic-a-holic, however my hub is and I will admit that it's been cool to watch it. Anywho...Dara Torres, she is my favorite. I think her spirit and attitude in her races is incredible and to do what she did at her age is such an accomplishment.

What do I do with tweeple ?

i agree. i like seeing the person's face...not the totally BAD mangas.

I've only caught a couple days of the Olympics. I was actually impressed by President Bush being over there to cheer on our guys and gals. Thought he did a good job in the interview with Bob Costas. :)
Then again, I'm pretty weird like that. I mean, the outfits on those gymnasts?

I hated the mangas, too but then I made one and I love it, I think I"ll keep it. it makes me smile a lot. and- I also love those atrocious purses, but the flip flops, what the heck was that? It looks like a girl-scout-project gone bad.
